The Bestie and I drove north and planned on a nice hike and maybe a short dip in Lake Texoma.

We knew it would be hot, but Lawd Jesus, it was hot. So a short dip turned into a few hours.

And I’m the happiest in water.

And in Nature.

After we survived the mid-afternoon heat wave, we ventured a bit further to Island View Park. Again the plan was for an hour or so.

We were there for 4 hours. 3 hours nonstop in the water for me.

106° aside, yesterday was an Ice Cube Day.

Just needed a nice cold can of beer or rosè.
